According to the Philippine Information Agency, Saturday, February 12, 2011, a group of Korean investors finalized their negotiations for the construction of the said Pangasinan’s Aquatic City Project located in Lingayen, Pangasinan (the capital town of Pangasinan) under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) scheme.

As stated this Project by the the Honorable Governor of Pangasinan, Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. in his State-of-the-Province Address (SOPA) last February 7, 2011 held at Capitol Plaza.

Home Ship Vehicle Amphi Port Company (South Korea) as the developer of the industrial and tourism complex, the project includes the berthing  facilities for amphibious aircrafts, beach front residences, golf course, an export processing and a monorail transport system.

The said complex will be build with a solar-and-wind power generating equipment and now being assembled in Korea and was scheduled to ship in Pangasinan within the first quarter this year.

The Phase 1 of the project will be expected to be completed this year and and it will cost $20 million.

This project could help thousands of People of Pangasinan. This is one of the great projects of our Governor to fulfill his goal “Pangasinan, the Best Place to invest, work, live and raise a family”.
